2009 was a good year full of fantastic books, but I did run into books that I absolutely didn't enjoy. I found these books thanks to my old school's library, reading class, the Maud Hart Lovelace reading program, friends, my random pick, or read aloud. These books are in order from 10 to 1. A ten would be a great book, but it isn't a one, to a one, which is the best book this year. I hope you consider reading one of my top picks! J
1. A Time of Courage: A Suffragette Diary of Kathleen Bowen by Kathryn Lasky
2. Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
3. So B. It by Sarah Weeks
4. Cracker! The Best Dog in Vietnam by Cynthia Kadohata [review]
5. The Clique (this book and the series that follows) by Lisi Harrison
6. Schooled by Gordon Korman
7. Face on the Milk Carton by Caroline B. Cooney
8. Found by Margaret Peterson Haddix
9. I'd Tell You That I Love You, But Then I Have to Kill You by Ally Carter
10. Larger than Life Lara by Dandi Daley Mackall
You should have reviewed some of these books, they look good!
