Mudville by Kurtis Scaletta

Mudville by Kurtis Scaletta is about a town called Moundville where it has been raining for 22 years. Roy McGuire returns home from baseball camp and finds a foster kid named Sturgis, a few days after Sturgis' arrival the rain stops so, Roy and Sturgis rebuild the field and get a Moundville team together and have a rematch with Sinster Bend.

My favorite part was when they had a game with St. James Academy because it was their first game. My other favorite part was when they played Sinster Bend because it was so suspenseful with every chapter. I would recommend this book this book to anyone who likes baseball.

I rate this book 10 out of 10. The reason why I read Mudville because is when I was rearranging Jodi's books, I came across Mudville and I read it.
